Terms of Business

These Terms of Business govern your use of the Jobboard Kitchen (“JBK”) website. By registering or using JBK you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Part A:
Terms for Jobseekers (Chefs & Hospitality Professionals)

Who we are

Jobboard Kitchen (“JBK”) is a trading name operated under the control of Georgie Corkhill, 124 City Rd, London EC1V 2NX, UK.

Who you are

You are a chef or other hospitality professional who has registered to use JBK.

What we do

JBK is an online venue that connects chefs with employers. You can create and post a profile or CV. Employers can review, download, and contact you directly. JBK does not act as an employment agency and does not guarantee jobs, interviews, or outcomes.

Registration and accounts

• You must provide accurate, up-to-date information.
  
  
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  
  
• You can delete your account at any time via your profile settings.

Your profile

• Keep your profile accurate and updated.
  
  
• Do not include sensitive personal data you are not comfortable sharing (e.g., full home address, phone numbers).
  
  
• You are responsible for keeping your own backup copy of your CV/profile.

Prohibited content

You must not post:

• False or misleading experience, qualifications, or skills.
  
  
• Content that is offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful.
  
  
• Information about other people without their consent.
  
  
• Anything that is not a genuine representation of yourself.

Data sharing and privacy

• When an employer downloads your CV/profile, they become an independent data controller.
  
  
• Employers must either delete your information or contact you within 7 days of download.
  
  
• JBK is not responsible for how employers handle your information once it is downloaded.

Liability

JBK is a venue only. We do not vet employers, check job adverts, or guarantee suitability of opportunities. We are not responsible for any losses arising from your use of the site.

Termination

• You can close your account at any time.
  
  
• JBK may suspend or delete your account at any time, with or without reason.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Part B:
Terms for Employers, Recruiters, and Agencies

Who you are

You are an employer, recruiter, or recruitment agency registering to use JBK. Both direct employers and agencies are permitted.

What we do

JBK is an online venue. You may post job adverts and access chef profiles and CVs. JBK does not act as an employment agency and does not guarantee candidates, interviews, or hiring outcomes.

Registration and accounts

• You must provide accurate, up-to-date details.
  
  
• You are responsible for account security and passwords.
  
  
• JBK may suspend or terminate your account at any time.

Subscription, fees, and refunds

• Access for employers/recruiters is paid (per advert, per CV download, or subscription).
  
  
• Free trials may be offered from time to time.
  
  
• All payments are non-refundable once a job advert is live or CV access has been granted.

Access to chef personal information

By downloading a CV/profile:

• You become an independent data controller under data protection law.
  
  
• You must either delete the chef’s data or contact them within 7 days.
  
  
• You may only use the data for genuine recruitment purposes for your own business.
  
  
• You may not resell, share, or store data indefinitely.
  
  
• You must have your own privacy policy covering candidate data.

Prohibited use

You must not:

• Post non-genuine or misleading job adverts.
  
  
• Misrepresent yourself as an employer if you are not.
  
  
• Re-sell chef data or share it with third parties.
  
  
• Engage in scraping, bulk downloads, or unreasonable use of the site.

Reasonable use

JBK may apply fair usage limits to the number of CVs you can download or chefs you can contact each month. Excessive use outside a genuine recruitment need may result in suspension.

Suspension and termination

• JBK may suspend or delete accounts at any time, including without reason.
  
  
• If suspended or terminated for breach, no refund will be provided.
  
  
• If terminated without breach, JBK may refund unused portions of fees at its discretion.

Liability

JBK is a venue only. We do not vet jobseekers or guarantee suitability. Our liability to you is limited to the total fees paid by you to JBK in the 12 months prior to any claim.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Appendix – Glossary

Jobseeker:
A chef or hospitality professional registered with JBK.

Employer:
A company, business, or organisation registered to post jobs or search chef profiles.

Recruiter:
An agency acting on behalf of an employer.

Services:
The JBK website and features including job posting, CV search, and candidate contact.

Subscription:
Paid access plan allowing Employers/Recruiters to post jobs or access chef profiles.
